There's a few people I need to thank..
First and foremost, I wouldn't be where I am today without my family supporting me in everything I do.
Not only was it my better half, Candy, who spotted the advert looking for extras in a Zombie movie (The Eschatrilogy: Book of the Dead) and told me to go for it, but she has always supported me in anything I have put my mind to doing. I have her to thank for the amazing experiences that I have learnt so much from, but also the amazing artwork that she created for Stonehurst: The Beginning which can be seen within the 'Written Word' section of my website.
She has kept me grounded within the acting world and has also advised me of roles to apply for, and which ones I should leave as they would do more harm than good to my resume. If it had been up to me, I would have jumped on any and every opportunity that came along. Thanks to her I have learnt to be much more selective in work I undertake. I know that sounds so snobby, but it's true.. one bad role can taint your work from then on. She makes for a good agent.
Then there's my daughter, Freya, who also wants a career within the industry, whether it be on stage or in front of the camera. Acting alongside her in a couple of roles were amazing experiences, not to mention proud moments. We support each other through acting and I love to see her on stage nailing a 10 minute monologue in front of a theatre full of people. It's times like that where I start crying tears of joy.
I love them both so much for always being there xxx
