My name is Andi; hopefully you would already know that if you have come to have a look at my site. I started acting a few years ago as a background artist. I used to appear in the Christmas performances when I was at school every year, and was always one of the first to be selected for a main role. I didn't really follow up on that going forward into secondary school; there were very limited opportunities for people to study performing arts back in what feels like the dark ages. For that reason I forgot just how much I enjoyed performing in front of people until I had the chance to get in front of a camera again. From that moment on, that was it. I remembered the fun that was to be had by acting and also meeting new people with the same interests. I have slowly moved closer to the camera over the years going from background artist to more featured speaking roles. I've always said that I will never become a Hollywood star, and I stick by that; I wouldn't want to. I'm happy to do what I do and have fun.

Moving on from the acting slightly, but I have also moved into the world of Voice Acting for a couple of game developers which is so much fun. I can't tell if it's any easier than physically acting just yet as you still have to portray emotion into your voice, but without the aid of physical movement and expression.

More recently I decided to start writing. Another thing that I hadn't done since I was at school, but remember always enjoying writing adventure stories. I started on a short horror which incorporated my love of the horror genre, be it movies, books or gaming, and before I knew it, the story had been published as part of a Short Horror Anthology. That gave me the confidence to keep going. The short I wrote was far from finished and had ended on a cliffhanger, so it made sense to continue with it and for future parts to hopefully appear in more anthologies with a look to publish the entire story as a novel one day and maybe even more. On the back of writing that horror, I had also started a project just to write a random story; a psychological thriller. This took a back seat to my other projects that I was working on, but is still on my laptop waiting to be finished. I did however take a 8k section of that story and submit it into a World Record attempt for most short stories in an anthology. As I write this introduction, we are still waiting to see if we can all break that record.. I will keep you updated if I hear anything. There will be more details on my writing within this website and links to purchase.

So, what else takes up my time I hear you ask? Well, I'm kind of part of a band called The Sourheads. I started going to the gigs as one of my friends was the lead guitar player. Soon, we all became really good friends and I was invited along to the studio to record an album. I ended up laying down some backing vocals and since that point I always jump up on stage for that song to help out.

I run a gaming website called AIR Entertainment which feeds my long time addiction of gaming, producing game announcements and reviews. I will dedicate another page on the site for that.
